There were not a lot of explosive plays and the offense wasn’t productive aside from the first drive that scored a touchdown in the second scrimmage.

Ontaria Wilson’s response has been incredible and he has put in work in the weight room. He is gaining confidence and performed well in two-minute drills. I expect him to emerge as a leader for the wide receiver unit.
The wideouts, in general, were improved and Ja’Khi Douglas had a big week. Bryan Robinson made a couple of splash plays, dashing all of my concerns about him as he gets more consistent.
The freshmen wideout duo looked good in red zone scenarios as well as catching back-shoulder throws. “They are getting better every day,” said Norvell.
Travis has been improving a great deal as a passer. He has better footwork, he is delivering the ball over the middle well, and his “best days are ahead of him,” per Norvell.
No one has run away with the quarterback competition, but no one has laid down either. There are a competitive edge and sense of camaraderie in the QB room percolating through the team.
Milton brought it on Monday and had one of his best days, and Travis responded. It was an iron sharpens iron moment, and you can tell they are learning from each other and showing progress.
This is evident in the energy around the team and the comfort they have with each quarterback, and it is evident in the highlights when you see the quarterbacks interact.
Everyone is getting stronger per running back LawranceTaofili, and they seem to get more confident as they get into the groove of the offense.
