First, I would like to mention Jadarius Green-McKnight, who had his best week by far. He is showing out with two mission takeaways. Norvell says he needs to work on communication, positioning but has good instincts, and “the sky is the limit.”

The secondary saw Akeem Dent return from injury with a PBU. Jarrian Jones continues to show improvement, and Jammie Robinson showed off his blitzing skills. Kevin Knowles continues to show why enrolling early will help get playing time as a freshman.

Jermaine Johnson. That’s it. That’s the sentence. He received praise from by Norvell for both his energy, leadership, and coachability. Offensive lineman Robert Scott says he will be playing on Sundays.

Fabian Lovett has taken the next step, and was also a prominent fixture in the week’s highlights. He is cemented in the two-deep and will likely be a starter, so it is exciting to hear he has been playing some of his best ball as of late.

Derrick McClendon’s name continues to come up, and he could be just what the Noles need on the opposite side of Johnson.

Amari Gainer is improving and focusing on his fundamentals and has used his physical gifts to make plays all spring. He has a high work ethic type of player, and the “sky is the limit for him” per Coach Marve.

Stephen Dix Jr. and Kalen DeLoach have shown their versatility and experience. The game seems to be slowing down for Dix Jr., which will be a welcomed improvement over last year.

He has been more confident and less reckless. If he can stay in his gaps and take better angles, his production should skyrocket.
