Parting Thoughts

If FSU basketball is to advance to the Elite 8, I think they’ll have to continue to do it with defense.

Michigan one of the most efficient offenses in the nation, but they have struggled against teams with decent defenses with length.

The Noles have that in spades, and depth the Wolverines don’t have, especially with Livers out of the lineup.

The Noles haven’t been close to optimal on offense and have still shot over 52 percent in both NCAA Tournament games. The last game was against the No. 24 ranked defense, according to Ken Pom.

That was without M.J. Walker, Scottie Barnes, RaiQuan Gray, or Balsa Koprivica having great offensive games.

If the Noles can avoid turnovers, especially since Michigan doesn’t force many, I believe the Noles have the firepower to advance past Michigan.
