FSU football has completed week two of spring camp, which concluded with its first scrimmage. This should aid us in understanding how the team is taking shape.

The consistent caveat given to the most recent blunders of FSU football has been that they didn’t have a spring.

Today, I am writing to you about a second week in the spring practice program. The mark at which this team was halted last year. Spring football is vital for a program implementing a new scheme, with new players and new coaches.

Last year, everything was new with no consistency as the team went back and forth between COVID-19 induced lockdowns and massive losses both on the scoreboard and off of the field.

Many starters opted out during the season, forcing a roster churn and youth movement that was already in progress into hyperdrive. Now, fortunately, the staff is no longer new, but most of the roster’s expected contributors still are.

The first scrimmage of spring gives the media more context regarding the team’s progress through spring camp.

Now, I feel confident saying that we talking heads don’t have to analyze every detail of spring. However, let’s take a look at some storylines and discuss who is standing out after week two of spring camp.
