Whatever buttons Mike Martin Jr. pushed to get FSU baseball turned around in the past week has been masterful.

Let’s be honest, because the Noles were one of the worst-looking teams in college baseball in the first few games. The pitching was decent early, but the hitting and defense were atrocious.

The Noles began to turn the corner, winning back-to-back ACC series against Virginia and Virginia Tech heading into their game against Florida Tuesday night with Miami on deck for the weekend.

FSU destroyed Florida 10-2 and dominated Miami in a three-game sweep that was never close.

What’s changed with the team?

The biggest difference is they found some confidence and have been feeding off that ever since they won the Virginia series.

It added some fuel to their fire, with Virginia Tech talking smack and FSU rolling them in the third game to take their series.

FSU should be ranked in the updated polls as they have played a steady diet of ranked teams early in the season.

I’m not sure anyone was expecting FSU baseball to go 4-0 against Florida and Miami. I’m sure most would have settled for a 2-2 split, but the expectations for this team have changed over the past week.

Let’s go in-depth on how the Noles dominated Florida and Miami.
