Offensive Tackle

One of the biggest needs over the past few years continues to be among the largest going into 2022.

The FSU coaching staff has Devontay Love-Taylor returning in 2022 and signed their first blue-chip offensive tackle in years, with the addition of Robert Orr.

FSU has already begun to hone in on an offensive tackle from Miami, three-star Daughtry Richardson.

I think this is the position Mike Norvell referenced when talking about an area they planned to address with the spot(s) left in the 2021 recruiting class.

Darius Washington looks like he might be a player if he can avoid injuries. Robert Scott played well as a freshman and earned All-American honors from one publication. Lloyd Willis is still in the mix if he can develop.

The biggest target on the board is legacy recruit and four-star offensive tackle Julian Armella.

At some point, they need to land some difference-makers at offensive tackle who can play early, and Armella would most likely fit that bill.
