Simply put this spot is Destyn Hill’s roster spot to lose. The wide receiver target out of Louisana has been a name connected with FSU since his visit in March 2020.

On that visit, Hill (then Pazon) named FSU his leader. Then was silent all of the quarantine. Then he showed up on campus with former Kimo Makeonole and a few of Makeonole’s teammates.

It has been clear that FSU is high on Hill, and Hill is high on them. There was one point where he was seen on campus and rumored to be filming a commitment video. After that rumor made its rounds, he dropped a top-five list in a local news interview segment.

Of the top five, FSU was still leading, along with Florida and Alabama. Somehow both cooled on him, and the Seminoles survived the push from both of those teams. Hill decided not to sign during the early period and instead focus on his high school team’s playoff run. FSU still seems to be favored, and the staff seems to have that same impression.

There have been no more names at wideout that FSU has been connected within the high school ranks. There was a time where I would also like the staff to go after Oklahoma wideout Charleston Rambo. He has proven skill and could immediately help the team since he already has a college-ready body.

However, that’s unlikely with the addition of Andrew Parchment and limited spots left.
As I said, I think this is Hill’s spot to lose as the staff looks to infuse talented youth into the wide receiver room.
