Experience and Depth

The FSU wide receiver group went into the 2020 season with lots of question marks beyond Tamorrion Terry.

He was the only proven player with Keyshawn Helton and Ontaria Wilson coming off injuries in 2019. DJ Matthews opted out, and younger players like Warren Thompson and Jordan Young had yet to emerge.

Fast forward, Helton, Wilson, and Young are the only wide receivers remaining who are not true freshmen.

That means the Noles would go into the 2021 season with less experience and depth than 2020. Enter Andrew Parchment, who comes to FSU football after two seasons at Kansas that saw him produce 89 receptions for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns in 20 games.

His junior season was the most product producing 65 receptions for 831 yards and seven touchdowns.

Those numbers are far and away more than anything either Helton or Wilson have produced at FSU. He’s a playmaker that should provide immediate help in the passing game and brings a swagger and confidence to the young unit.

He bring size, strong hands, and can stretch the field vertically for the Noles.
