FSU football: Is there enough young talent to shorten the turnaround?

Mike Norvell has already addressed arguably the most important position on the roster. He has signed two quarterbacks in the last recruiting cycle and has one of the better 2021 quarterbacks committed in Luke Altmyer.
The next promising area is the offensive line. Maurice Smith and Darius Washington are both freshmen who’ll be around the next few years. Dontae Pope has at least a couple of years of eligibility left. Devontae Love-Taylor could come back in 2021 if he wanted to.

Thomas Shrader and Robert Scott Jr. have shown promise and will likely get more snaps as the season continues. Freshman Zane Herring will be back next season after missing this season with an injury.
The 2021 recruiting class has three promising offensive linemen, including the newest commit, four-star tackle Rod Orr.
Freshman Lawrance Toafili looks like he’ll be a player at running back, and the young wide receivers in Kentron Poitier, Corey Wren, Bryan Robinson, and Darion Williamson should develop. La’Damian Webb a couple of years of eligibility remaining, and Jashaun Corbin could return in 2021.
The tight end position is probably the position that’s most shallow talent-wise, but Jordan Davis will return next season, and they have two talented tight ends in the 2021 recruiting class.
