FSU football head coach Mike Norvell has a major challenge in getting the Noles back to respectability. Is there enough young talent on the roster?

FSU football fans feel like this year’s edition of the ‘Noles football team is the worst in most of our lifetimes.

It’s worse than last year, 2017, and the 2018 team thus far, and there’s nothing we can concretely point to that says it will get better.

As I’ve been saying, it’s not going to be an overnight fix, but even those expectations have to be adjusted based on the play of players on the current roster.

Players touted among the best at their respective positions have not played anywhere close to those expectations.

That, coupled with continued poor QB play and an offensive line that’s still not very good, and we have what we have in Tallahassee.

A team that’s not going to win many games unless something major changes with the will and desire of upperclassmen, or younger players get reps now and improve drastically towards the end of the season.

Some people may already question if Mike Norvell can turn this program around after the first two games? I believe he understands what the needs are. The question is, how long will it take to get this program back to respectability?

Is there enough young talent to shorten that turnaround?
