Coaches

I would be remiss if I didn’t preface this list by saying it is a little rigged because I have only included players. The best performers of camp have been the coaching staff. Everyone from Mike Norvell down has accepted the challenge of improving this team during COVID-19, whether that be via recruiting, the transfer portal, or team building and trying to get the best out of what we have. They have exceeded my current expectations.

It sounds like I’m getting ahead of myself, I know. However, recruiting a top 20 class during a pandemic while attracting talent in the transfer portal has shown this staff is doing an outstanding job so far.

The last staff was not competent in several areas, and for the most part this staff is a breath of fresh air.  New things like the “Seminole Legacy” web series, “Mission Takeaway,” and the recruiting graphics on social media shows this staff is willing to put effort into re-establishing the Seminole brand and the success that it implies.

I understand that we still have to wait to see the product on the field, but with expectations so low from the last three years, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility for the Norvell staff to surpass those performances and provide some stability.
