Offensive Line

Listen, I know the offensive line has been awful the past few years. However, I believe the Noles will be better upfront in 2020. I mean, they couldn’t be any worse, right?

Most of them have put on good weight and gotten stronger. There’s also more depth to work with as some freshmen were able to redshirt last season.

Mike Norvell and Kenny Dillingham spoke about the offensive line after the scrimmage Saturday night. Norvell seemed more reserved with his comments, while Dillingham praised FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins and said the unit has shown improvements.

I’m not sure how much of that is coach speak from Dillingham, as he has a naturally upbeat and optimistic type of personality.

The key to this unit is finding the right combinations and creating depth. They’re still searching for both, but it’s fair to mention they are going up against one of the best defensive lines in the country.
