Ru’Quan Buckley

Ru’Quan Buckley is rated as a composite three-star defensive end, but the FSU staff is recruiting him as an offensive tackle.

He hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was offered by the Noles on June 26. He checks in at 6’6″ and 260 pounds with 18 offers from the likes of FSU, Nebraska, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Kentucky, Michigan State, Oregon, Purdue, Syracuse, TCU, West Virginia, and some smaller programs.

He’s considered the No. 546 player nationally, No. 36 strong-side defensive end, and No. 14 player in the state of Michigan.

Buckley is uncommitted, but Nebraska holds two votes in the 247 Crystal Ball predictions. However, both votes were cast in January with a confidence rating of six.

Nebraska or any of the Big 10 teams not having a season could give the Noles the edge they need along with their big need for offensive tackles.
