Cory Durden

Cory Durden is a player I like a lot that has played injured a lot of his time at FSU. He’s similar to Janarius Robinson in that we’ve seen a nice jump from year-to-year in his production.

He’s an emotional player, and his play reflects that at times. There are some games he looks like an absolute wrecking machine, and then others, where he looks invisible.

Then again, some of that inconsistency could be due to playing injured too. Durden is one of the better defensive tackles in the nation to return in 2020.

He was tied for the team lead with five sacks last season, and nearly double his tackle output from his redshirt freshman year. I’m excited to see how his play will change under the direction of Adam Fuller’s more aggressive scheme.

If he’s healthy, coupled with this being a money year, Cory Durden could become one of the most impactful players for the Noles in 2020.
