FSU football coaches are still hard at work evaluating players for its 2022 recruiting class. Their latest offer is at a position of need from Miami.

FSU football coaches are looking to solidify its offensive line in the coming recruiting classes. The Noles have two offensive linemen committed for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

Both players can play a variety of positions, but the Noles need players who are true offensive tackles.

They’ll likely take at least three more offensive linemen in 2021 but have already started laying the groundwork for 2022.

They have sent out 26 offers, with 21 of them being offensive tackles. The latest offer goes to Daughtry Richardson from Miami, Florida.

He announced his offer via Twitter Thursday afternoon:

Richardson checks in at 6’5″ and 269 pounds and has three offers from the likes of FSU, Tennessee, and Florida A&M.

Richardson doesn’t have a 247 Composite Ranking at this time, and I can’t find any recruiting service that has a ranking on him yet.

Nevertheless, this is a player the Noles have identified early as they are the second Power Five program to offer him. He’s also from South Florida where the FSU coaching staff needs to develop recruiting ties in a hurry. The FSU coaching staff has shown they are good evaluators of talent in these situations, and it’ll be interesting to see which teams come in and offer him afterward.

Interestingly, Miami hasn’t offered him as he is relatively in their backyard, and they need offensive tackles just as bad at FSU.

He’ll likely continue to grow and mature physically since he’s a bit away from graduating high school.

However, like most offensive linemen, he’ll need to hit the strength and conditioning program hard upon his arrival. Let’s see if the coaching staff can get him on campus soon, and that’ll be a great measuring stick to see where they stack up.
