The 2020 FSU football season will be pivotal in determining the future of the program. I look at the five most important games of 2020.

Credit has to be given to the FSU football administration. The program is coming off its worst three-year stretch in most of our lifetimes, yet the program seems to be heading in the right direction for all intents and purposes.

Recruiting is holding steady with a No. 25 national ranking. More importantly, the Noles per player average is better than Miami’s and there’s not that big of a gap between Florida.

That’s despite Florida coming off its second blowout win against the Noles and finishing with 10 wins last season.

Right now it’s all about holding serve until the season starts. Winning is the only way the perception of the program is going to change.

Well, I suppose being competitive in losses would help too since the Noles got rolled against Clemson, Miami, and Florida.

Every game on the schedule is important obviously, but a few of them hold a little more weight than others based on when they take place, and who the opponent is.

Let’s take a look at my five most important games on the schedule for 2020.
