FSU football has enjoyed some 2021 recruiting momentum the past couple of weeks. However, they are not losing focus on 2022 either.

FSU football has added several commitments over the past months for 2021, as well as two important players from the transfer portal.

They have 10 commits for 2021 with about 10-15 more spots depending on attrition. However, they’ve been consistent in future classes as they continue to offer 2022 recruits.

The Noles have sent out 163 offers for the 2022 class, including several over the past few days.

Here’s a list of a few offers that have been recognized via Twitter:

Keahnist Thompson is a strong-side defensive end from Lakeland, Florida. He’s only rated by 247 Sports at the moment and is considered a three-star recruit.

Aaron Hester is a legacy recruit who plays linebacker and defensive end. He hails from Neptune Beach, Florida, and doesn’t have a composite ranking at this time.

Daniel Martin is a linebacker from Marietta, Georgia, who’s ranked as the No. 48 player nationally and No. 6 outside linebacker by 247 Sports.

Thoughts on these offers

I trust this staff and their ability to evaluate talent, and it’s good to see them concentrating more on the state of Florida and Georgia.

It’s important to continue building those relationships among high school coaches and recruits in these two states.

It seems like they are trying to narrow their focus in this class as 47 percent of the offers have gone to players in these two states.

They currently have one 2022 commitment from Travis Hunter Jr. who’s ranked as the No. 10 player nationally by 247 Sports.

If the Noles can look improved on the field this fall, I expect the 2022 recruiting class to be back among the elite to help the Noles get back to the top.
