FSU football bolstered its 2020 recruiting class with nine transfer players. Here are my top four who could be impact players for the Noles.

FSU football had its worst recruiting ranking on paper in most of our lifetimes in the last recruiting cycle. A combination of things contributed to the lack of elite talent.

A poor product on the field, lack of organization overall, and a head coach getting fired late in the season were all major culprits.

Most of the blue-chip talent was spoken for when Mike Norvell was hired just 10 days before the early signing period.

He and the staff did an admirable job of securing some key positions while being able to keep most of the blue-chip commits onboard aside from Malachi Wideman.

They did their best to address needs on the roster, but one thing I like is Mike Norvell understood the FSU roster needed to be flipped and infused with more talent.

That’s why they’ve gone hard in the transfer portal and added nine players to the 2020 class.

These players don’t count towards that final No. 22 ranking, but these additions make this class at least the top 20. There’s still an overall lack of elite players in the class, but these four transfers could become impact players for the Noles.
