FSU football has been looking for playmakers on both sides of the ball. The coaches have offered 2022 blue-chip prospect Keon Sabb Sunday night.

FSU football continues to make up ground on its 2022 recruiting cycle and has sent out its latest offer to blue-chip Keon Sabb.

Sabb hails from Williamstown, New Jersey, and is a multi-sport athlete (football, basketball, and track).

He doesn’t have an overall composite rating, but 247 Sports rates him as their No. 4 player overall and the No. 1 safety in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

Sabb checks in at 6’1″ 190 pounds and already holds 17 offers schools like FSU, Arizona State, Florida, Baylor, Boston College, Georgia, Maryland, NC State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Texas A&M, Temple, West Virginia, and others.

Sabb announced his offer via this Twitter account:

Thoughts

It looks like Sabb will play on the defensive side of the ball since he tagged FSU defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson in his tweet. He has the size to play safety which is a position the staff has been targeting a great deal in the 2022 cycle.

They’ve already offered 12 safety recruits. Sabb is listed as an athlete, but remember 247Sports has him rated as their No. 1 safety, which is higher than any of the other recruits currently offered.

I’ve talked about how the staff has had to play catch up because of the 2020 transition class. The Noles are a little late to the game with their off compared to Florida, Texas A&M, and Penn State. All three offered last fall, with Penn State being the only school of those three he’s visited.

Now, it’s all about continuing to foster that relationship to get him on campus. Hopefully, the staff will make use of their virtual tour and eventually be able to get him on campus when this COVID-19 pandemic is under control.
