By Kelvin Hunt
Fred Biletnikoff

Florida State Seminoles Football
Biletnikoff finished his FSU football career with 100 receptions for 1,655 yards and 20 touchdowns.
One may look at those numbers and smirk, but they were all FSU football records at the time he finished his career at FSU.
He led the nation in receptions and receiving yards, and touchdowns his senior year and was voted a consensus All-American.
To his credit, he also played defense and helped the Noles secure their first victory over the Florida Gators.
Of course, college football didn’t play as many games back then as they do now, and Biletnikoff missed some time in his first season with an injury.
