FSU Relationships with High School Coaches

One of the biggest challenges for the FSU coaching staff is the development of relationships with Florida high school coaches.

Mike Norvell and staff have done a good job of creating opportunities to build those relationships by hosting socials in different parts of the state.

They also have an open-door policy where high school coaches can come to campus to observe practice and get their players’ exposure to big-time college football.

Now that all spring activities have been canceled, these types of functions are likely limited or not happening at all unless FSU coaches continue to host events for the high school coaches.

That’s likely not going to happen due to the NCAA implementing a temporary DEAD PERIOD until April 15th.

FSU coaches being able to get high school coaches on campus is important in establishing those relationships that ultimately lead to improved recruiting in-state. Just look at the tweets displayed above and you’ll see what I mean.
