FSU football spring practices have been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. I take a look at three concerns as a result of the cancellation.

FSU football fans were eagerly anticipating the beginning of spring practice during the Mike Norvell era.

As quickly as things began in week one, they came to a screeching halt due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Noles got three official practices under their belt after weeks of strength and conditioning workouts.

They got to wear pads in the final practice before everything was canceled for the foreseeable future.

According to head coach Mike Norvell, the team seemed to be making solid progress to where he ultimately wanted the team to be when the spring game was set to take place on April 18.

Of course, that’s canceled too, and now we take a wait and see approach regarding this pandemic situation.

What is there to make of where things go from here? How long will the players not be allowed to practice as a team? Better yet, what will the fallout be from a fragile program with a mostly brand new coaching staff?
