Christian Meadows

Christian Meadows checked in at No. 5 on this list because of all the blue-chip players left he’s the least experienced due to not playing a single snap in his career.

Meadows was considered a four-star recruit in 2018, the No. 302 ranked player overall and the No. 14 ranked offensive guard in the class.

The offensive line is an area of huge concern for the Noles, but the guard position is the deepest compared to offensive tackle. However, that’s not to say the Noles couldn’t use more help at guard.

There’s a reason Dontae Lucas had to play as true freshmen last year. Most offensive linemen are not physically ready to contribute, so having that first year to redshirt is huge in their development.

Fortunately, Lucas was physically ready, but still made a lot of mistakes due to inexperience. Unfortunately, he was injured in the bowl game and will likely miss most of spring/summer.

Meadows redshirted his freshmen year, which is common but missed all of last year due to injury.

He’s listed at 6’4″ 334 pounds and ironically was listed at 330 pounds as a high school recruit. Missing that year with an injury hampered his development, but it’s still time for him to be able to contribute at least for depth purposes.

The word seems to be Lucas is recovering well and could be ready to play by the time the season begins. However, if not, having Meadows ready to play in case anyone else like Brady Scott goes down would be huge.
