Final Thoughts

It’s simple, Mike Norvell has to win and he has to win now. Willie Taggart crashed and burned but he had recruiting humming in the first few months he was head coach.

The Noles had the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation in April 2018 after Sam Howell and Dontae Lucas committed at the 2018 spring game weekend.

However, the product on the field allowed teams to negative recruit and players didn’t want to be a part of what was happening in Tallahassee.

Mike Norvell’s in the same spot as Willie Taggart in spring 2018. He’s making all the right moves and has the fan base behind him.

He’s gotten off to a great start with the 2021 recruiting cycle and has started to establish a buzz around the program again.

However, all that goodwill can evaporate quickly with poor performances this fall. If they perform well and show improvement over the past two seasons the sky’s the limit.
