FSU football: 3 things Noles need to be elite again

Coaching
When players have the right mentality usually it’s because they have bought into the team concept and are holding one another accountable.
At that point it’s up to the coaches to put the players into positions to succeed. The coordination of the offensive, defense and special teams.
This has been sorely missing over the past couple of years. We’ll get to see what Mike Norvell and company bring to the table in 2020.
It’s making sure the defensive line, linebackers and safeties are working like different parts of an engine for optimal performance. The same goes for the offense and special teams, every man doing HIS job to the best of his ability.
We’ve heard coaches in the past say it and it rings true, but good coaching is getting that player to actually do it. It’s just like any good coach understands he may need to do different things to motivate different players.
Some players want to be yelled at and others needs to be reassured, but at the end of the day those players must believe in those coaches.
They must believe those coaches will put them in positions to succeed and then it’s up to the players to execute.
