Florida

I feel this is where FSU football should spend most of its time and so far 59 offers (37 percent) have gone out to players in the Sunshine state.

Florida is arguably the best state in terms of producing Division I football talent and had 61 blue chip players in the 2020 recruiting class.

There are five 5-stars and 56 four-star recruits and the Noles have six of those players signed already with one committed(for now) in Malachi Wideman.

The only problem is the blue chip players in-state are leaving to go outside the state to play. An amazing 32 of the 56 blue chip players (57 percent) decided to go out-of-state.

There are currently 50 blue chip players in the 2021 recruiting class from Florida. Remember, these rankings are early and will change but seven of these players are already committed.

FSU football needs to win the state and it’s something Willie Taggart and staff were doing a decent job of even though they were not having great success on the field.

The biggest thing is FSU needs to start getting those difference makers again. Signing Demorie Tate is a start with the 2020 class, but getting offers out to these players after being in Tallahassee barely a month is a good start.
