Momentum

First of all, there was a tremendous amount of excitement throughout the day as fans knew there was a possibility of adding a few new players to the class.

For whatever reason it seems FSU football coaches picked on the Louisville Cardinals all day long.

It started with flipping former FSU commit Josh Griffis back to the Noles.

Another surprise was Wednesday night Coach Norvell announcing FSU had signed former Louisville defensive end Jarrett Jackson who entered the transfer portal prior to the season and will be eligible immediately in 2020 which is at a huge position of need.

Not only that, they were able to add two quality wide receivers in three-star Kentron Poitier and four-star Bryan Robinson who Ron Dugans had been working on for forever.

The biggest news of the day was FSU coaches flipping four-star dual threat quarterback Chubba Purdy from Louisville.

This move was huge and I know some folk will say FSU didn’t flip him from a rival or someone like Alabama or Ohio State.

However, the fact FSU was able to flip him at a position of need under the circumstances of only getting him on campus once which was last week is huge.

It definitely was a shot in the arm for the program and absolutely made FSU fans want to stick their chest out proudly again after the reverse happened last year with Sam Howell.
