FSU football met a need with the addition of Josh Griffis to the 2020 recruiting class.. I discuss the impact he will have on the ‘Noles program.

FSU football added three-star defensive end Josh Griffis to the 2020 recruiting class Friday evening.

The IMG Academy product decommitted from the Florida Gators on February 20th after the Noles offered him on February 15th.

FSU football became the presumed favorite to land his commitment shortly after that as he has been openly supportive of the Noles on social media.

Griffis visited in March and was back on campus for the spring game earlier this month. Friday he was on campus again where he pledged his commitment.

He’s considered the No. 705 ranked player overall and No. 26 weak side defensive end in the country according to 247 Composite Rankings.

FSU football now has eight commitments in its 2020 recruiting class which is considered the No. 11 class in the nation.

Griffis makes the sixth defensive commitment in the class. Let’s take a look at three ways his commitment impacts the Noles.
