FSU football: Top 10 impact players for Noles in 2019
By Kelvin Hunt
Redshirt sophomore Tamorrion Terry was on the list as an honorable mention last year even though he hadn’t played a college snap.
Now you know why as he was one of the best wide receivers in the nation last season. What’s crazy is he would have had an even better season had FSU targeted him more often.
He’s the type of player that deserves 6-8 throws his way a game at least. Terry finished the season with 35 receptions for 744 yards and eight touchdowns.
He averaged an amazing 21.26 yards per receptions last season which ranked No. 5 in the nation. I’m sure opposing teams will give him more attention this year now that he’s now a known commodity.
The great thing is I still expect him to have better overall production as Kendal Briles likes to take advantage of mismatches
. However, even when he’s not getting the ball the attention opposing teams will give him opens up things underneath for players like D.J. Matthews and Keyshawn Helton.
