Recruiting

Recruiting coordinator David Kelly has done an excellent job of working with the coaches to put the 2020 recruiting class together.

The Noles are currently ranked No. 9 in the nation, ahead of BOTH Miami and Florida coming off the worst record in 40 years.

The ‘Noles recruiting has done an excellent job of helping the program build momentum heading into the 2019 season.

It’s a clear indication FSU football is still a program quality players want to come and play at. FSU coaches have clearly been laser focused on winning the state of Florida in recruiting and have done so.

They’ve also been focused on recruiting Georgia who’s in their backyard. What’s even more important about recruiting is they have nearly filled the class and have met most of their needs.

They have 21 commits with room for about seven more and can now be relatively picky about who they want to add to the class while working on 2021.

I don’t think anyone in their wildest dreams expected FSU football to be where they are recruiting wise after how they finished the 2019 cycle. They realistically could not have done a better job in this department.
