FSU football met a need with the addition of Alex Atcavage to the 2020 recruiting class.. I discuss the impact he will have on the ‘Noles program.

FSU football added three-star offensive lineman Alex Atcavage to the 2020 recruiting class Thursday evening.

The IMG Academy product was offered Wednesday after a conversation with FSU linebacker’s coach Raymond Woodie.

He’s teammates with FSU commit Josh Griffis and FSU wide receiver target Michael Redding.

He’s considered the No. 2,303 ranked player overall and No. 141 offensive guard in the country according to 247 Composite Rankings.

Despite the low ranking, Atcavage holds 18 offers including schools like Louisville, Illinois, NC State, Minnesota and UCF. He has good size at 6’5″ 285 pounds and reported he’s lost 65 pounds since his freshman year.

FSU football now has 13 commitments in its 2020 recruiting class which is considered the No. 16 class in the nation.

Atcavage makes the second offensive lineman commitment in the class. Let’s take a look at three ways his commitment impacts the Noles.
