FSU Football: Ranking the 5 toughest games of 2019 season

Clemson
The defending national champions return arguably the best QB in the nation in Trevor Lawrence.
This game will be in Death Valley and the Tigers return a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. There’s a reason the Noles are currently three touchdown betting underdogs against the Tigers right now.
Those are opening lines and will fluctuate based on how the teams look in games leading up to their matchup.
Their defensive line feasted on FSU’s offensive line last year and the Clemson wide receivers feasted on the Noles secondary.
FSU beat itself too with 16 penalties for 134 yards.
It didn’t help the FSU defensive line could barely get to Trevor Lawrence to pressure him. They only had four QB hurries and one tackle for loss the entire game. The flip side?
Clemson had five sacks and 14 tackles for loss and held FSU to 3.29 ypp. The crazy this is a huge chunk of that came on a long TD pass from James Blackman to Keyshawn Helton.
This is the only game where FSU will have a noticeable talent gap based on QB play and what Clemson will have in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
