Isaiah Bolden-Safety

The safety position was a huge liability last season and likely would have had better results had former four-star safety Isaiah Bolden not get injured.

He came to the Noles as the No. 231 player and the No. 25 cornerback in the 2018 class. Bolden was listed as a cornerback by recruiting services but most folk thought he’d play safety in college.

It’s the quickest route to playing time at FSU football for sure with the departure of AJ Westbrook.

Levonta Taylor, Jaiden Lars-Woodbey, Cyrus Fagan, Carlos Becker and Akeem Dent will definitely be in the mix at safety too.

Bolden saw playing time against Samford last season before getting injured and looked good in the spring game aside from falling down on a route ran by Warren Thompson and giving up a touchdown.

He’s got good size at 6’2″ 188 pounds and should see playing time as younger players look to take snaps away from upperclassmen who they can physically outperform.
