FSU Football: 3 ways Jayion McCluster commitment impacts Noles

Winning State of Florida
FSU football said they wanted to win the state of Florida when it came to recruiting under Willie Taggart.
They have signed a lot of players from the state the last two recruiting cycles, but they’ve yet to reach those elite guys.
That could be changing with the 2020 recruiting class. Florida has 60 percent of their commitments coming from the Sunshine State.
They have the No. 6, No. 7, No. 26, No. 31, No. 46 and the No. 69 ranked players from Florida as commits.
Miami has 10 of its 12 commits coming from the Sunshine State. They have the No. 4, No. 11, No. 23, No. 39, No. 41, No. 44, No. 53, No. 55 and No. 119 ranked Florida players.
FSU has 10 of its 11 players from the state of Florida. They have the No. 19, No. 28, No. 35, No. 40, No. 47, No. 48, No. 74, No. 76, No. 88 and No. 95 ranked Florida players.
These rankings are still relatively early but the only thing FSU is lacking are those elite top 10 type players at their position.
They’re in the mix for some, but it’ll all come down to whether or not FSU football can win or the field or not in 2019.
