Ira Henry

No, that’s not Ira Henry in the picture. Ira Henry is a player the Noles would love to have in this class as they desperately need an offensive tackle that signs out of high school.

Henry is a composite three star who’s ranked No. 912 nationally and the No. 75 offensive tackle who’s versatile enough to play guard.

He was also on campus during FSU’s January 19th recruiting weekend.

This is primarily and Auburn/FSU battle with Auburn leading the 247 crystal ball predictions with 50 percent of the vote.

The Noles check in with 33 percent of the predictions and Illinois with 11 percent. However, Henry visited Indiana this past weekend along with another FSU target Kaamar Bell.

The good thing Henry has going for him is he’s physically ready to play at 6’5′ 320 pounds which isn’t the norm for most offensive linemen coming out of high school.

Henry has indicated he wants to play early and that was communicated to him when he visited a couple weeks ago. Auburn can offer early playing time as well, but it seems FSU did a good enough job on his visit to reel him in on National Signing Day.
