West Region

First Round

No. 1 Oklahoma over No. 16 Arkansas

No. 8 Cal over No. 9 Georgia Tech

No. 4 NC State over No. 13 Maryland

No. 5 Oregon over No. 12 Virginia Tech

No. 2 Washington over No. 15 Illinois

No. 10 Vanderbilt over No. 7 Wisconsin – This game isn’t so much an indictment of the Badgers, but more of a Miami Hurricanes team who lost to Wisconsin badly in their bowl game this past season.

No. 3 Kentucky over No. 14 Colorado

No. 6 Stanford over No. 11 Baylor

Second Round

No. 1 Oklahoma over No. 8 Cal

No. 5 Oregon over No. 4 NC State – Hmm…a team who talked smack just because their former coach made the right move and joined the Seminoles or a team that has given us heartache over the past few seasons? Can we hope for a sinkhole?

No. 2 Washington over No. 10 Vanderbilt

No. 3 Kentucky over No. 6 Stanford

Region Semis (Holiday Bowl in San Diego)

No. 1 Oklahoma over No. 5 Oregon

No. 3 Kentucky over No. 2 Washington

Region Final (Rose Bowl in Pasadena)

No. 1 Oklahoma over No. 3 Kentucky – The Wildcats have been a fun team to watch this season (especially when they beat the Gators) but even on their best day they don’t have the athletes who can hang with what the Sooners have.
