By Jason Parker
East Region
First Round (played at site of highest seed)
No. 1 Clemson over No. 16 Rutgers
No. 8 Boston College over No. 9 South Carolina
No. 4 Penn State over No. 13 Texas Tech
No. 12 USC over No. 5 Iowa – The first of a couple double digit upset that you will see, the Trojans have much better athletes that the Hawkeyes just can’t hang with.
No. 2 Michigan over No. 15 North Carolina
No. 7 Virginia over No. 10 Purdue
No. 3 Syracuse over No. 14 Ole Miss
No. 6 Missouri over No. 11 Wake Forest
Second Round (played at site of highest seed)
No. 1 Clemson over No. 8 Boston College
No. 4 Penn State over No. 12 USC
No. 2 Michigan over No. 7 Virginia – The way the Cavaliers played of late, they might actually be able to give the Wolverines a game in this one but Michigan would still get the close win.
No. 3 Syracuse over No. 6 Missouri
Region Semis (Belk Bowl in Charlotte)
No. 1 Clemson over No. 4 Penn State
No. 3 Syracuse over No. 2 Michigan
Region Final (Peach Bowl in Atlanta)
No. 1 Clemson over No. 3 Syracuse – The Orange kept it close in the regular season, but if Trevor Lawrence is playing a full game there is no chance that Syracuse can come out on top of that.
