FSU Didn’t Quit

This FSU football team quit earlier in the year against Clemson and easily could have quit against Notre Dame Saturday night.

They got hit right in the mouth with the offensive turnover which turned into a touchdown less than a minute into the game.

They were getting blown out at halftime to the tune of 32-6. One encouraging sign was the FSU defense stepping up and forcing a turnover on Notre Dame’s first offensive possession in the second half.

The second part of that is the ‘Noles offense was able to take the turnover and turn it into a touchdown four plays later.

The FSU offense only had five possessions in the second half and ended three of those drives in Notre Dame territory but were unable to convert on fourth downs.

At least it looked like the Noles were able to move the ball somewhat, but it could have been Notre Dame playing backups and just a base defense trying to get the game over without suffering any injuries.
