Honorable Mention

There were a number of FSU football players who made plays in the Wake Forest at varying levels. We can’t name everyone impact players of the game or whatever, but we certainly want to mention those that caught my eye.

Here are my players who are receiving honorable mentions:

  • D.J. Matthews
  • Cory Durden
  • Joshua Kaindoh
  • Tre’Shaun Harrison
  • Janarius Robinson

Matthews was a factor in the punt return game and had five receptions for 40 yards. Cory Durden continues to emerge on the defensive line and had four tackles with two tackles for loss.

Kaindoh had arguably his biggest game of the season before receiving a legit targeting penalty that will force him to miss the first half of the Clemson game. Harrison showed why many FSU football fans believe he could be great by the time he leaves Tallahassee with his video game spin move and score.

Janarius Robinson delivered on his game dedication with a sack and six total tackles.

Overall, a great day for all phases of the game for FSU football after a shaky start.
