Cam Akers Finally Got Loose

We’ve been waiting for it to happen and this was easily Cam Akers’ best game of the season stats wise.

He finished the game with 98 yards on 13 carries with two rushing touchdowns. Akers also was a factor in the passing game with three receptions for 28 yards.

That’s what FSU fans have been waiting for from Akers and this run game. Wake Forest was allowing 5.91 yards per carry on the season and Akers averaged 7.5 yards per carry Saturday.

He was supposed to look good against this defense and he did which hasn’t been the norm.
