Deondre Francois Had Lots Of Time Most Of The Day

It was the second game of the year the offensive line didn’t surrender a sack. FSU allowed Wake Forest to have 17 tackles for a loss last season and only allowed six on Saturday.

It should be noted Wake Forest is one of the worst teams in the nation at getting to the quarterback.

However, not allowing a sack is pretty big for a patchwork offensive line that still banged up.

Wake Forest was credited with just three quarterback hurries, but there were probably a few more than those as he was cracked a couple of times just as he released a pass.

It’s a good day when Deondre Francois can complete 73 percent of his passes for 353 yards with two touchdowns and no turnovers.

Again, we have to qualify it by saying it’s Wake Forest, but offensive line coach Grey Frey has to be given credit for what he’s been able to do with what he was given(not much).
