Nyqwan Murray

I give Nyqwan Murray a lot of flack and deservedly so because he could be a helluva player if he wanted to be.

Well, he wanted to be Saturday against the Cardinals as he led the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns.

He finished with six receptions for 114 yards and touchdowns and averaged 19 yards per reception.

The first touchdown was huge because it answered the touchdown Louisville had just scored.

The second touchdown was the eventual game winner as he shook off a couple of tackles and took it 58 yards to the house.

Have you ever noticed Murray always runs diagonal on long touchdown runs like he’s not fast enough to just pull away from defenders? Just an observation I saw yesterday and remembered it was similar to his long touchdown catch against Michigan in the Orange Bowl.

Murray needs to continue to stay in engaged as he can be a productive player, but he also needs to stay engaged when he not getting the ball too.
