Overall It Should Be An Improved Team

The quarterback and running back positions should be improved compared to last season as well as the offensive line.

Based on the fact the offense will be based off the run game at least FSU football will have an identity and should be more efficient even though it’s a new offense.

The biggest question mark is the linebacker position. The defensive line and secondary should be great. What most fans forget is outside of third and long situations the defense was actually good last season.

They were solid in the redzone and allowed 21 ppg  and 4.75 ypp. The craziest thing is they No. 45 in the nation in third down conversions allowed, but over 30 percent of those were over seven yards or more.

That shouldn’t be a consistent problem in 2018 and the Noles should do a better job of getting after the quarterback with Harlon Barnett’s aggressive scheme.

They won seven games with a true freshman QB and incompetent defensive coordinator with unmotivated players and easily could have won against NC State, Miami and Louisville.

I like this team to win a minimum of nine games with a real shot to win 10 in Willie Taggart’s first season in Tallahassee.
