FSU Football: 5 players Noles can’t afford to lose in 2018
By Kelvin Hunt
Arguably the ACC’s best cornerback and the most experienced cornerback on the roster. Taylor ranked among the best in the ACC with the lowest passer rating allowed when targeted by opposing quarterbacks.
He had 18 tackles on the season and one might say that’s low, but you can’t tackle anyone if you don’t allow them to catch the ball. Pro tip!
Taylor had two interceptions(both against Florida) which tied for team lead and returned one for a touchdown.
Besides being a player that can get it down physically, he’s also one of the better leaders for this defense.
The former No. 1 overall cornerback in the country plays with a lot of dog and isn’t afraid to let the opposition know what’s up.
Taylor will likely lock up the field cornerback position as a starter in a secondary that should be one of the more talented units in the conference.
