Conclusion

I thought both quarterbacks looked decent given the offensive line was missing starters and had players playing for both teams at times.

Also, it was evident the center was having issues snapping the ball which was throwing the timing off for both quarterbacks and even resulted in negative plays.

However, when given time they both showed they could hit the open guy for chunk plays. They both seemed to do a decent job of running with the offense with tempo although Taggart believes they can improve in that department.

I need to see both quarterbacks hit the lunch room and the weight room with reckless abandon to add size and strength this summer.

To those really debating if a quarterback outplayed the other don’t waste your time as there are too many variables to consider to make a definitive decision.

I’d say how they are performing in practice is a better indicator of who’ll win the job moving forward.
