No. 4 – RB Dalvin Cook (2014-2016)

Why he should be honored: It is hard to believe that the Miami native has been gone just one season from the FSU football program considering his name is etched in the record books along with some of the greats to ever play for the Seminoles – regardless of position. From the first time he stepped on the field as a freshman, Cook showed he was going to be something special.

Cook is the only person to gain over 1,000 yards every season that he played for the Seminoles, finishing with the top two single season rushing totals in program history to go along with being the school’s all time leader in rushing yards and touchdowns in a career – finding himself ahead of Warrick Dunn in all of those categories in just three seasons.

His senior season of 1,765 yards to go along with 19 touchdowns for a second straight season included two of the top five individual rushing games in FSU football history while finishing as the first unanimous All-American running back for the Seminoles and one of just 15 players in program history to have that honor – with six of them either already having their numbers retired or going to in the coming months.
