James Miller- 3 star LB

James Miller is the No. 877 ranked player and the No. 33 inside linebacker in the nation. He’s the No. 123 ranked player in the state of Florida whose teammates with FSU commit Warren Thompson and FSU target Malcolm Lamar.

FSU has four-star linebacker Amari Gainer in the fold and four-star linebacker Xavier Peters. However, Peters will likely play more of an edge rusher role in Harlon Barnett’s defense.

Miller is 6’1″ 225 pounds and is a pure wrecking ball coming downhill against the run. He’d likely be a liability in coverage, but when it comes to laying the wood like old school FSU defenses back in the day he’s your guy.

He needs to finish up strong in the classroom, but he’d be worth a take in this class as he could be valuable on special teams as well.

FSU fans have felt the ‘Noles have gotten soft on defense the past couple of years and Miller could help change that perception in a hurry.
