Syracuse

Syracuse ran 95 offensive plays and averaged less than five yards per play against FSU.

FSU allowed Syracuse to convert (11-25) third downs (44 percent) during the game, and allowed seven plays (12, 21, 30, 29, 18, 14, 15) over 10 yards on third down.  In other words, 63.6 percent of their third down conversions went for 10 yards or more.

Syracuse had 174 yards on 25 plays averaging 6.96 yards per play and averaged 6.12 yards to go on third downs for the game.

The Orange are averaging 5.26 ypp going into week 10. They are also converting third downs at a 41.67 percent clip going into the FSU football game.

Again, another team that outperformed their season third down conversion against FSU.

Those are way too many explosive plays given up by the FSU defense.
