November 4th – vs. Syracuse

After just one appearance inside Doak Campbell Stadium during the month of October, the Seminoles return home to take on an Orange team that they dominated last season inside the Carrier Dome – a game that will go down in history for Dalvin Cook becoming the school’s all time leading rusher in the blowout win.

The men from Western New York, the only team in the ACC Atlantic Division last season to not make it to a bowl game or have a winning record, will have a better team as head coach Dino Babers enters his second season leading the team. If the Orange can keep quarterback Eric Dungey healthy and the defense, which returns 10 starters, can play better than last year, this is a team capable of making some noise.

Prediction: Now, in no way am I saying that the men in orange have any chance of beating the Seminoles at this point in the season. Syracuse relies almost completely on their pass game, so Derwin James, Tavarus McFadden and the rest of the secondary could have a field day if Dungey or whoever is under center has to chuck the ball all game.
