Depth

Although the team returns a lot of starters on both sides of the ball, there are still a few areas where depth is a concern.

Quarterback-Deondre Francois is the starter and there is no Sean Maguire to back him up this season. It looks like it’s going to be true freshman Bailey Hockman as the backup opposed to JJ Cosentino.

If Francois were to go down, quite frankly FSU football would be in trouble(as would most teams who lose their starter).

Yes, please stay away injury bug.

Wide receivers-The ‘Noles have Nyqwan Murray, Auden Tate and Keith Gavin who will be the starters. This is arguably the most talented group of wide receivers at FSU since Fisher became head coach.

There are no proven backups.

There’s a ton of talent, just no experience to back them up. George Campbell, Tamorrion Terry an D.J. Matthews are all supremely talented, but the ‘Noles need the starting trio to remain healthy.
